As you use Kitata, we collect:

  • Friendships - Your connections with other users

AI Chat Assistant (Google Gemini)

Kitata uses Google Gemini to power AI chat features. When you interact with AI assistants:

  • Your chat messages are sent to Google Gemini for processing

  • The AI uses conversation context to provide relevant responses

  • AI responses are generated based on your current conversation and may include recommendations

  • You can always identify AI participants in conversations

Matchmaking Algorithm

Kitata uses automated processing to suggest compatible activity partners:

  • The algorithm considers your stated preferences, location, and availability

  • Matching scores are calculated based on compatibility factors you specify

  • You choose whether to connect with suggested matches

  • The system does not make binding decisions; all connections require your explicit consent

Data Retention

  • Active Account Data: Retained while your account is active

  • After Account Deletion: Retained for 30 days after you request deletion

  • Permanent Deletion: After the 30-day retention period, your data is permanently deleted from our systems

Note: Some data may be retained longer if required by law or to protect our legal interests.
